Broadvoice™, an award-winning provider of hosted voice, unified communications (UC), and SIP trunking services for businesses, has made yet another investment into its channel management team with the hires of Randy Greene and Todd Scarborough.
As Channel Manager of the southwest region, Greene brings more than 25 years of experience in telecom and communications to the table. He joins Broadvoice after 14 years at TPx Communications (formerly TelePacific), where he was most recently a senior channel manager. While there, he was named local channel manager of the year by Telarus.
Prior to Telepacific, he held positions at Covad Communications, Everest Broadband, and Qwest Communications, among other providers. Greene holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from La Salle University and is based in Simi Valley, CA.
“I could not be more excited to join such a dynamic, forward-thinking team at Broadvoice,” Greene said. “This is a company in high-growth mode, with an unwavering dedication to its channel partners, and I’m ready to use my experience to go all-in on that mission.”
Scarborough meanwhile brings an extensive background in both cloud sales and partner management to his position as Channel Manager for the Texas region, with channel-focused stints at Birch Communications and X4. Most recently, he was business development manager for Channels & Alliances at Serenova (formerly LiveOps Cloud), where he worked with cloud service providers and sales partners across the globe to help them build and refine cloud contact center (CCaaS) practices.
A US Marines Corp. veteran with more than seven years of service stationed in Iraq and the US, as well as a tour of duty during Operation Iraqi Freedom II, Scarborough is based in Austin, Texas. He volunteers extensively with various non-profits, including ReGroup Ranches, which works proactively to end homelessness, suicide, and other effects of PTSD.
“Broadvoice is a company that’s known for its community spirit and strong commitment to channel partners and their customers, and a will to innovate and grow through embracing the cloud and other leading-edge technologies,” Scarborough said.
“As a Marine, I only know one direction, and that’s forward. I’m thrilled to be working with the best, dedicated to ensuring partner success and helping them move ahead.”
Greene and Scarborough join at a time of unprecedented growth for the company: Broadvoice has seen a 167% overall sales increase in the last three years with channel sales tripling over the preceding year. Broadvoice is ranked among the Inc. 500|5000, as one of the nation’s fastest growing private companies.
“We have seen an amazing amount of dynamism, excitement and growth this year in our channel partner program and within Broadvoice as a company,” said Sam Ghahremanpour, president at Broadvoice. “We are thrilled to invest further in our channel team and resources, and look forward to having Randy and Todd’s individual unique and deep expertise in the field with our partners, driving us ahead into 2018.”
Broadvoice offers a flexible, smart portfolio of IP-based voice and data offerings, backed by its enterprise-class, geo-redundant IP telephony platform. For businesses, the technology contains a full UC suite and cloud PBX services, including unlimited voice calling plans throughout the continental United States and Canada.
