The units are compatible with 240V split phase and 208V 3-phase utility circuits and have 96% CEC weighted efficiency with peak efficiency reaching 96.6%. The inverters are designed without electrolytic capacitors and have no parts with rated lifespan less than 200,000 hours (or approximately 50 years of operating time).

The CP-250-60-208/240-MC4 model has earned ETL marks for IEEE std 1547, IEEE std C62.41.2, UL1741, and CSA C22.2 NO. 107.1. The unit also complies with international CISPR 22 class B emission levels which are significantly more stringent than FCC Part 15 B levels.

Chilicon Power’s gateway includes a 7″ display with touch control to allow PC and network-free configuration and monitoring. Chilicon also provides a cloud service for users that need to view production data remotely. In addition to the power line communication that interfaces with the inverters, the gateway device provides WiFi 802.11bgn and zWave wireless networking to allow integration of other smart home features such as security, power consumption, lighting control, etc.

Chilicon Power’s balance of system components includes a 17-tap compact and light-weight three conductor branch-and-trunk cable solution that can be ordered in either landscape or portrait configurations.
