The Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce has received the President’s Circle Award for excellence in business advocacy from the California Chamber of Commerce. Simi Valley Chamber President and CEO Rana Ghadban accepted the award from CalChamber President and CEO Allan Zaremberg at the CalChamber Capitol Summit in Sacramento.
“The Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce plays an active role fostering and supporting the economic success of our local businesses,” comments Rana Ghadban, Chamber President and CEO. “At the local, state and federal levels, we advocate for policies supporting job creation and retention. This award is a testament to our mission of amplifying the voices of our members and speaking collectively on behalf of the business community in Simi Valley.”
The President’s Circle Award was given to 29 chambers of commerce throughout California. Recipients of the prestigious award published vote records of their state legislators on key business issues, generated letters to state elected officials on issues of interest to members, and helped their members comply with California employment laws at an exemplary level through the CalChamber compliance product resale program.
